Our range of services include:
Concrete - an extremely strong material on its own, but for extra strength steel reinforcing is used, for example; in ground or suspended slabs. Concrete also comes in different strength mixes and colour can be added if wanted.
Concrete Slabs - Ground and Footings - used to construct the ground floor of a structure, building, house or garage - Suspended – used for upper levels and balconies
Block Walls - can be used for all walls inside the house – load bearing or non load bearing can also be used for retaining walls
Block Fill - provides maximum strength and can be pumped to fill any core and pack tightly around steel reinforcement rods
Shot Crete - or spraying concrete, often used for swimming pools and retaining walls
Retaining Walls - a structure designed and constructed to resist pressure of soil. May also be reinforced with steel for extra strength and durability
Steel fixing - is the process of tying steel reinforcement prior to concrete being poured, ie; steel mesh used in driveways, N12 or N16 for suspended slabs and stairs.
Formwork - the construction of a Timber or Ply wood "mould", used for the desired shape or form of a concrete slab, stairs or balcony, before steel and concrete is added.
Formwork types - Timber and Plywood are the most conventional types of Formwork. Permanent formwork is also known as Bondeck, this type of formwork is left in place after the concrete is poured. Dincel is also a type of formwork which is used for walls and is great for basements where there may be water problems. Because this system is water-proof, it can be used instead of block-work and takes half the time to construct, it comes in sizes of 110mm, 200mm and 300mm
Driveways/footpaths - constructed to specifications, formed, reinforced and poured. Colour can be added to the concrete before it is poured if required.
Stamped or Stencilled concrete - concrete that has a pattern stamped or stencilled into it. Most often used to replicate the look of stone, slate, brick or tiles.
